The Hero Who Completed His Duty Now Lives Freely on the Frontier

Despite being a porter for the prince's hero party, Clay singlehandedly defeated the Demon King. However, he left the credit for his achievement to the prince, who will be responsible for the country's future, and disappeared, not wanting to get in the way. Now a simple villager again, Clay heads to "Primitive," a remote hell where everyone has given up on development. Using his Appraisal and Imitation skills, he absorbs the techniques of the hero party and freely carves out a path through the untamed land teeming with monsters. But Clay boasts otherworldly strength, and there's no way that those around him, former comrades and enemies alike, will leave him alone--!? A frontier development fantasy in which a retired true hero takes on the challenge.
